The Challenge:
While The Box was planning the opening of a new facility in 2014, there wasn’t a lot of self storage in Dubai and the few that were there were offering only crates. The Box’s vision then was to bring to life closed storage units with the white partitions and the trademark green colour doors that are famous today. The doors couldn’t be sourced locally as there were no self storage suppliers and the ones that could manage from other industries were offering them at a very high cost, and not in the required colours.
It was around this time that The Box’s Founder and CEO, Wadih Haddad was introduced to Janus at one of the self storage industry conferences.
The Solution:
Janus was able to provide exactly what The Box team needed. Shutter and swing doors exactly in the colours tailormade for self storage exactly in the colour wanted. The quality and consistency of the product since has made it easier to keep building and expanding.
